DANBODDWe work for businesses
Our services are for companies, project companies, funds and the advisers who act for them. We do not sell to consumers, so the consumer right to withdraw within 14 days does not arise.
On any one project we work for one side only. If we already work for the other side, we tell you before you order and decline the work.
What you order, and what it costs
You order the services named on this site at the fee agreed in writing in your quote or engagement letter. Fees are in euro and exclude VAT.
Danish clients pay 25% Danish VAT on top. Business clients in other EU countries account for the VAT themselves under the reverse charge rule, with their VAT number on the invoice. Business clients outside the EU pay no Danish VAT.
We ask for your company name and VAT number before we invoice. The invoice or the engagement letter states when payment is due.
Dates, and what happens if we are late
The quote or the engagement letter states the day your deliverable is ready. The X-Ray is ready five working days after your documents arrive. Danish public holidays and the Christmas week do not count.
If we are late, the engagement letter states the remedy. Remedies are credits on later work with us, and none of them is a refund.
Credits are never paid out
Where the engagement letter moves what you paid for one service to a later service on the same project, the credit is used on that work and is never paid out.
Nothing continues on its own
Every order is a one-off. A data room or any other service that runs over time continues after the agreed period only if you ask us in writing. Nothing renews by default, and no monthly service starts on its own.
What our work is
We screen projects and give commercial advice. Every deliverable carries this line.
Prepared by DANBODD from the documents and information provided, to inform your decisions. Each reader makes their own review and takes their own legal, tax and investment advice.
Our figures are ranges from one tested valuation engine. AI tools help us read documents, and a person reviews every deliverable before it reaches you. The result is as good as the documents and numbers you give us.
You decide, you negotiate in your own name and you sign. Your lawyer drafts and finalises the legal documents, and your auditor and tax adviser cover audit and tax. We hold no money that belongs to a deal.
Your documents stay yours
We use your documents and numbers for your project only. We do not pass them to anyone outside DANBODD and the tools we work with, we do not market your project, and we never advise the other side of your deal.
We keep the documents you give us for 12 months after the work ends, so that we can answer your questions, and delete them earlier if you ask. You decide who may read your data room, and you can close access at any time.
Our liability
Our liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect loss, such as lost profit or a deal that does not close. Where the law does not allow a limit, the law applies.
Danish law
Danish law applies, and disputes go to the Danish courts. The version of these terms in force on the day you order applies to that order. If one term turns out to be invalid, the rest still applies.
